Laura Chase is this year's PTA president with this being her fifth year participating in the PTA. What she cherishes most about the PTA is the opportunity to connect with new people and engage in the school community. She is mom to a fourth grader and a first grader! She has been a Springfield resident for 12 years and grew up nearby in Windsor. When she's not busy with her job at a child care center, Laura enjoys being crafty and spending time with family and friends.
Sarah is stepping into her role as treasurer this year while cherishing moments with her two daughters. She serves on the board of a local childcare center, offering valuable insights drawn from her experiences in that position, her professional background, and her time spent living in both Texas and New York!
Heather Laplante has lived in Springfield for 25 years now. She is a preschool teacher in the district and has been teaching for 13 years. She has three children in the district; a sophomore, a fourth grader, and a first grader! When She is not at school she loves to spend time with her family. She love frogs, sunflowers and UConn women’s basketball; Go Huskies! She is excited to be co vice-president of Elm for the PTA! Here’s to a great year!!
Katie Lacasse works as a preschool paraprofessional in the district and is a mom of two. She grew up in Springfield and went to school here. When she is not at school, she enjoys spending time with family, camping, and doing things outside. She is actively involved in the community and contributes a wealth of knowledge to the PTA team.
Brittaney Goodrich is a mom of three, Jayce (7th grade), Brynnleigh (2nd grade), and Bailey (3 years). She was born and raised in Springfield and coming from a large family, she’s one of ten siblings. Brittaney enjoys spending time with her family, vacationing, working on house projects, and watching her kids play sports.
Sam Snyder is a Kindergarten teacher at Elm Hill School and a mother of three. She has been actively engaged with the SSPTA for numerous years.
